The library is open to staff and students during the following hours of operation:
| Monday to Thursday | 7:30AM to 7:30PM | All students. |
| Friday | 7:30AM to 5:00PM | All students. |
| Saturday | 9:00AM to 2:00PM | Year 11 and 12 students only. |
The Library is open on selected Saturdays during term time only and is supervised by a member of our Teaching Staff. Please refer to Spaces or contact the Library front desk for more details.
Please note that limited Library services are available on Saturdays and students are to remain on the lower levels of the Library.
To ensure our senior students head into their exams with confidence, the library is also open for Year 11 and 12 students during select weeks during the school holiday periods.

During select school holiday periods, Year 12 students from MLC Burwood and other appropriate are invited to use the Library spaces for quiet study. For further details on this arrangement and on expectations (for both Newington students and guests), please see the relevant Spaces page.
The Library is not open in the summer school holidays.
