Year 11 & 12 Business Studies - General Subject Guide
Step One: Join the State Library
- Click here to join the NSW State LibraryIf you haven't already, join the NSW State Library. You need to have a library card number to access the IBIS World database.
Step Two: Locate the IBISWorld database
- Go to the NSW State Library HomepageSearch for 'IBIS World' in the catalogue search bar at the top of the page
Scroll through the search results until you find 'IBIS World (Online)' DATABASE.
Click on the 'Online access' link.
Step Three: Login to begin
You will then be prompted to login using your NSW State Library card number.
Step Four: Start your Search
Option 1: You can search for a specific business:
Option 2: If you don't have a specific business in mind, you can browse broader industry reports and trends. For example, you may be interested in the 'fitness' industry, or 'construction', or 'coal mining'..
