Research findings suggest that pornographic films, especially those containing violence, can contribute to callous sexual behaviour and violence towards women.

Some of the more explicit games have sexual themes, and some have sexually violent themes. The concern expressed about such games is due to the level of interactivity involved. It is as if the player is actively participating in the violence.
